Tuning
Fine tunings and pitch corrections, $150–200.
Cleaning
Basic interior and exterior cleaning, odor removal, pest infestation clean-up, $75. Cory Care piano key and case polishes and accessories available for purchase.
Repairs
Broken strings and hammers, sticking keys, separated keytops, etc., $75/hr. When you book a repair as an add-on to a tuning appointment, any idle time during the repair (e.g., waiting for glue to dry) is spent tuning and is not billed.
Regulation
Grands and uprights, $75/hr.
Humidity Control
Certified Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver System and Piano Guard installer. Requires a quick consultation and deposit before installation can be scheduled. Plan to schedule a follow-up tuning a few weeks after installation, $800–1200 (including $75 deposit). Humidifier pads and pad treatment available as an add-on to other services for a nominal fee.
Minimum Service Visit
The fee for any service visit is no less than $75, the hourly rate for most services. There is almost always something to improve on a piano, though. When your requested service takes less than an hour, the rest of an hour may be dedicated to additional improvements with your approval.
